This web site is designed for the use of the people diagnosed with celiac disease and those interested about the gluten sensitive diet.

The gluten sensitive intolerance includes several diseases:

•  celiac children
• celiac adults also known as sprue indigena
• dermatitis herpetiformis. 

Such diseases and their complications are caused by intolerance to protein contained in wheat, rye, barley and oats, protein named gluten.  It's an auto-immune disease, which means that the body produces antibodies that attack its own tissues. For people with coeliac disease this attack is triggered by gluten. The only treatment is a gluten free diet.

Our mission is to inform and facilitate exchange of information between people suffering of it hoping the one day we will have a support group for the Romanian patients as there are in all European countries.
